What Is the PROSEEK Study?
PROSEEK is a clinical research study. In a clinical research study, people with a specific disease or condition volunteer to potentially receive a medication—called an investigational drug. An investigational drug is a medication that has not been approved by regulatory health authorities (e.g., Food and Drug Administration [FDA]).
Clinical research studies are important because they help researchers determine whether an investigational drug may be a safe and effective treatment option for people with Parkinson’s disease in the future.
Is there any cost to participate in this clinical research study?
All study-related care—including study visits, tests, assessments and study drugs—will be provided at no cost. In addition, reimbursement for study-related travel expenses (e.g., parking, tolls and gas) is available.
